The Greater Everett Brewers League (GEBL) is an American Homebrewing Association club. The purpose of the club is to promote homebrewing of beer and to help homebrewers brew better beer.
Opportunities for Beer Evaluation and Education:
1) Have your beer judged by the club - Every odd numbered month, the GEBL meeting is dedicated to evaluating beers of a single BJCP style. A commercial beer will be judged as well as all beers of that style brought by homebrewers. See the Calendar of Events tab for the style for each month.
2) Have a BJCP judge evaluate your beer - Bring a bottle to a meeting and a judge with evaluate it (using the BJCP scoresheet) and give you the scoresheet with feedback.
3) Want to improve your judging skills? - Contact the GEBL Secretary (see contacts section) to be paired with a BJCP judge for a one-on-one learning session. The two of you will to get together for an evaluation session of either a homebrew or a commercial beer.
Requirements for membership in GEBL:
Because GEBL is a club related to the general education, consumption and production of an alcoholic beverage, certain conventions must be followed in order to become a member of the GEBL. If a visitor expresses an interest in becoming a member of GEBL, the membership requirements will be explained to the candidate by the GEBL Membership Copordinator.
